A Call From An Old Friend

I got a call at the store today from a guy I used to work with at the Franklin Institute. He had seen the City Paper Article from back in November and had been meaning to call me. I hadn't talked with him in years, and even the last time we had contact was by email. It was good to hear his voice.

Oddly enough, after he had left the Franklin he started his own business as well, which brought the question from me of: 'what are two museum demonstrators doing playing entrepreneur and starting businesses?'. Gotta admit, its out of character for both of us, really.

Stupid Cold!

The weather outside is nice. I could have biked to work in pleasant weather almost every day this week. But I can't. Because I have a fucking cold. Grumble grumble. My energy is pretty much shot, and I won't be going to fencing practice this evening. Oh well.

My Preliminary Website Design

My website designer has come up with a preliminary design for the Spectrum Scientifics website. I've had a few criticisms with it and have consulted with Ian, who designed my logo and he had a few thoughts to add to my criticism. But overall I think I'd like more eyeballs on this project.
