In for repairs

I tried to take my bike to the bike store on Wednesday, only to find out that it has been closed. Dang! What is it about this neighborhood that they can't support a bikeshop? Anyway, I ended up taking the darn thing to the shop on Chestnut street for evalaution. It looks like it will need about $100+ of work on it: Tune up, replace the chain and gear cartridge (they've been squeaking due to being stretched, handlbar tape and new brakes. I got one ride into work this month while it was still somewhat warm, and that was the day it started raining. I ended up taking the train home. But with any luck, the weather should be warming up and I may get a few rides in this coming week. As long as it doesn't rain.
