Another downturn.
SaraBelle has not been very chipper this week, and she remained either hidden most of the time or was sleeping. When I did try to give her treats, she refused them. She didn't act very enthusiastic overall, and actually looked like trying to eat treats was hard for her (bending over seemed to trouble her). She went to the vet today and they confirmed that she was now under 4.5 lbs. The vet also called to tell me her mass seemed larger. To battle this she was given a dose of two types of chemo treatment. If that has no effect then we will drop chemo for a while to see if she gains some weight.
She's bounced back from these crises before, but always with some loss in the weight column. There's not much weight left to lose.
