The Week Thus Far.

Its been a little odd this week. I haven't been home in the evening for the entire week. First there were workshops on Monday and Tuesday, then fencing on Wednesday, followed by a visit to my parents for dinner on Thursday. Tonight I am going to a friend's house.

Speaking of the workshops, they've been going pretty well. It seems that about 90% of the class is to make you think about what you are doing and make certain you have a clue about what you are getting into. I have demonstrated pretty well to them that at the very least I know what the hell I am talking about and what the competition is.

Speaking of competition, I was wandering around Philly today sort-of scouting possible locations. I went into the (rather lonely) Hobby store on 3rd & Market. By heaven is my witness I do not want my store to ever resemble this store in any way. It is claustrophobic, dirty, and has a rather uninvolved staff. I thought when Rodney Anonymous referred to it as the 'saddest place store town' he was just doing some ol' geek bashing. But it seems he was right about the place. Although they are not strictly competition per se, they are definitely in a similar category. My store must never resemble theirs.

Now its time for Emo Boy drama. I got a bit of a slight lately from someone I consider a friend. Nothing huge, just a rather flagrant shut out. Don't worry, if you are reading this it is almost certainly not you. And it definitely isn't anyone who comments here nor is it a very close friend. Its not a huge thing, its just been something of a slight that's been nagging at me.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I'll go eat a box of Macaroni and Sorrow and get the fuck over it.
